Kingsdown

I'm not sure how long this boat has been here and if it is ever used, I would love to see it with the cover off.

We spent a night at St Margarets at Cliffe, Saturday afternoon we took some time out to have a wander along Kingsdown Beach, it’s a stoney beach with a two pubs at one end and the start of the White Cliffs at the other, from here it’s a nice walk up the cliffs past Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club and along too the Dover Patrol Monument, we stayed down on the beach as I wanted to try out a new Sony 20mm lens, there is not a lot to photograft so I tried my hand at a long exposure (with the camera) this wasn’t a great result but I did manage to learn a few things.

Here are a couple of shots with the 20mm.

This old rusty winch has seen better days.

Very pleased with the lens, I know I need some more work.
