Anchor Handling

Morning all, just started my eight hour shift, it’s slow going and could even come to a complete stop due to the weather, these boats are big, but a swell of just over 3 meters can send a lot of water up the deck & with guys working out there safety always comes first.
This is a AHV (Anchor Handling Vessel) from the last job I was on, as you can see these guys put themselves at risk all the time, here they are waiting for a pennant to be passed to them from the rig. The pennant is used to chase along the anchor chain and retrieve the anchor from the seabed.
