Last of the Door’s   23 comments

Last door post, for this week anyway, these doors have been brought to you today all the way from Tangier, strictly specking it’s two doors and an arch. I’m surprised how many door photo’s I’ve got, a lot of comments yesterday said “we all love a door”

I’m off on holiday next week so may not be able to post, but we are staying in the grounds of a castle so hopefully I will get a few good shots of the British country side, have a great weekend.

Kasbah   Leave a comment

The Kasbah – The Kasbah is located high on a hill in Tangier with some good views of the ocean. The old Sultan’s palace (built in the 17th Century) lies within the Kasbah’s walls, is known as Dar El Makhzen and is now a museum that houses fine examples of Moroccan art.

Colourful Fruit   Leave a comment

Back to Tangier today, and back in the old town, some market stalls looked very impressive while others were like this one, sort of placed in any container that would do the job, but I thought the colours looked great, and guess where I brought my Oranges from.

Sunflower   Leave a comment

After walking around the Old town in Tangier we came across a bustling market, loads of noise from all the haggling and the smell of food in the air, it was great, I grabbed a cold bottle of water off one of the vendors and as I took a swig I came face to face with this cool Sunflower, it almost seemed out of place.

Rooftops   Leave a comment

Spent the day in Tangier, made my way straight to the old part of town, met up with a local guide (about €10.00) and off we went. I think without a guide you would be lost in minutes, although that could be fun. After parting with €150.00 for a rug the owed of the shop let me onto his roof where i took this photo.
